Dramatic Audrey!

Last night we went to dinner for Brett's birthday. We took Audrey with us but left the other kids with a babysitter.  The restaurant only had Coke products so I ordered her a sprite. When they brought it out, it was in a clear container and Audrey was very upset because she thought I had ordered her just water.  She was pouting with her head down on the table and wouldn't even try the soda.  We got just a short video of her dramatic fit!  Watch closely, after she looks at the camera with her pout, she reaches over and grabs her binky and then goes back to pouting!

Piano Recitals

It's that time of year! End of the year recitals! Charlie played Spring by Vivaldi. His teacher said he thought he's going to be a great performer. Charlie was very excited to be wearing his grandpa Sam's $45.00 tie!

Katie played Happy Birthday and Springtime Symphony. She happened to be playing Happy Birthday on Grandpa Wayne's birthday...and he was there. It was totally just a coincidence!

Charlie's recital lasted 2 hours. Needless to say he was a little restless. All I can say is good thing we didn't have the girls with us. Also....thanks to the wonderful relatives for coming to support Charlie and enduring the 2 hour recital. Afterwards they asked if I like that sort of thing because of the music background. Of course I do! I sure don't get enough of it and I love soaking it in. Here's a little video of Charlie having a rough time sitting through the recital!

Fishing Trip

David, his dad and brothers took Charlie and Katie on a fishing trip today (free fishing weekend)! They both said they had a blast! Katie commented that fishing is "one of the dirtiest things I've ever done!" When they got back Sydney was very interested in Uncle Joey cleaning the fish.
It sure looks like Charlie didn't want to touch his fish... he says the sun was in his eyes!

She caught the biggest fish of the day....with her Barbie fishing pole!

What a cutie! David said it's so much fun to take Katie places because she's so enthusiastic.
